It's set to be a mostly cloudy night ahead for Co Kildare with some patches of light rain and mist being forecast for tonight.
Tonight will be dry in most areas and it will be mostly cloudy. There will be some patches of light rain, drizzle or mist , mainly in the north. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with light to moderate south-westerly winds.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be dry in most areas, with some bright or sunny spells in the south-east. There will be some patchy light rain in the north. Warm with highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees. Winds will be mostly moderate south-westerly.
Tuesday night, will see outbreaks of rain and drizzle affecting Atlantic coastal counties, with just patchy falls elsewhere. Mild and humid with lows of 13 and 16 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
On Wednesday the rain in the western half of the country will turn heavy during the morning. The rain is then expected to extend eastwards through the day bringing a steady fall of rain across the country. The rain will clear to showers on Wednesday evening. Highest temperatures between 17 and 21 degrees early in the day, with moderate to fresh southerly winds veering southwesterly with the clearing rain and introducing cooler, fresher conditions.
Thursday looks to be a cooler day with temperatures down a degree or two in the east and south in particular. There'll be showers in the west from early on, becoming widespread during the afternoon. The best of the sunny spells will be in the southeast. Winds will be moderate westerly.
