It's set to be a mixed weekend of weather around Kildare as various outbreaks of rain are set to disrupt more sustained spells of sunshine.
It will be generally dry and clear tonight with just a few mist patches. Cool with overnight lows of 5-10 degrees. Low cloud and drizzle will affect southwestern counties by the end of the night.
Patchy rain will gradually spread northeastwards on Saturday but Ulster and north Leinster will have a dry and bright morning. The rain will be generally light in nature but there will be occasional heavy bursts, especially later in the day. Highest temperatures of 18-21 degrees in freshening south or southeast winds.
Rain will clear northeastwards to showery rain on Saturday night. It will stay very mild and humid with lowest temperatures around 12-15 degrees. Moderate southerly winds will fall light with patches of mist and fog forming.
Sunday will see scattered outbreaks of showery rain with some bright or sunny spells at times. It will be another warm and humid day with top temperatures reaching 18-21 degrees in light variable breezes. Sunday night will become mostly dry with a few showers remaining in northern areas. Still staying mild overnight with lows of 11-14 degrees in light variable or westerly breezes with mist and fog patches forming.
