A Co Kildare TD is appealing for funding to be sought for Men's Sheds in the county.
Kildare North TD Bernard Durkan said: “The Men’s Sheds of County Kildare should arrange to apply for a total funding of €26,000, which will be made available by Minister Michael Ring for minor works associated with Men’s Sheds."
Deputy Durkan emphasized the important work done by the Men’s Sheds, and he expressed the wish that all 18 Men’s Sheds in County Kildare will apply before the deadline of August 31.
He said:“The Men’s Sheds are an important part of urban and rural Ireland, and I strongly support their activity and their funding requirements.”
