A Co Kildare church has been targeted by thieves over the weekend.
Gardaí in Co Kildare are appealing for information after reports that candles and a shrine box disappeared from the Sacred Heart Church, Nurney.
It is understood that between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, on Saturday last, the church was broken into.
No damage was reported and it is understood that the church was unlocked at the time.
