People who noticed Yellow Boxes junctions were missing in Newbridge after recent road works - needn't worry.
Kildare Co Council has agreed with a contractor to replace the important road markings which are vital for traffic management.
Under road traffic laws, drivers must not enter the criss-cross yellow lines unless they can clear the area without stopping.
Cllr Murty Aspell called on the Council re-mark all Yellow Boxes which were previously in the Newbridge Area that may have faded or been removed due to roadworks.
The Municipal District Office responded that it has recently submitted location drawings to the contractor with a view to the line markings being completed in the coming weeks.
