It is expected that it'll be a mostly dry, clear night ahead for Kildare tonight with frost and icy patches developing overnight.
Tonight will be mostly dry with good clear spells and just the risk of a shower near the coast, and it will be cold with lowest temperatures between -2 and +1 degrees leading to frost and icy patches.
Northerly winds will decrease light to moderate but remain fresh near coasts.
Tomorrow is set to be cold with motorists warned to take caution as icy patches are expected to develop overnight, although it will be sunny and mostly dry and just the chance of the odd shower again.
A cold day with top temperatures of just 4 to 7 degrees in light to moderate northwest to northerly breezes but fresh near coasts.
