The father of a 16-year-old girl killed in a car crash has paid tribute to his 'beautiful daughter'.
The victim, Katie Murphy, from the townland of of Ballinamona, was a rear-seat passenger in the car which crashed into a wall on the coastal Cliff Road in Tramore Co Waterford at 8.20pm on Wednesday.
She was rushed to University Hospital in Waterford after the crash but died later.
Her father Hilary Murphy said she was a "beautiful girl".
In a message on social media, he said: "Feeling heartbroken. Our beautiful daughter was taken from us last night in a car accident. We loved her so very much and I don't know how we can cope without her," he said.
