A crash has been reported on the on M9 northbound between Junction 4 Castledermot and Junction 3 Athy.
Gardai and emergency services are en route to the scene.
Traffic was originally blocked in both northbound lanes - but one lane later reopened.
A tow truck is on its way to assist at the scene.
