Members of Ballymore Eustace GAA are in Dublin this afternoon to search for missing local man Maurice 'Moggie' Murray.
Maurice (35) was a former goalkeeper with the club and also a renowned handballer.
Several Ballymore Eustace GAA members are meeting up at the Spire on O'Connell Street to help carry out a search on the city's streets.
There were reported sightings in the Drumcondra area earlier this week.
Helpers can contact search co-ordinator Tadhg Grace at (087) 750 6548 for more information.
Kildare South TD Fiona O'Loughlin shared information to her followers on Facebook and said: "That is very worrying. The more publicity in missing cases the better the chances of finding the person. Hope his family have him home soon."
Maurice was last seen in the Liffey Heights area of Ballymore Eustace on the morning of Sunday, August 14 between 2.30am and 3am.
He is described as being 6'1" in height, of athletic build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Maurice has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm. It is unknown what Maurice was wearing when last seen.
Gardaí are concerned for Maurice’s welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
