A man appeared at a special sitting of Naas Circuit Court in relation to a robbery in Co Kildare, over the weekend.
A 28- year-old man is alleged to have gone behind the counter of Insomnia Coffee Shop in Monasterevin, located close to Junction 14.
It is alleged that he took the till and fled the building.
The man, understood to be from Finglas, was later arrested.
He appeared at a special sitting in Naas on Sunday. He has been remanded in custody.
