Appeals are now being made by a woman currently in Prosperous who thinks that she could be standing close to a missing owl.
The female European Eagle Owl, named Tank but nicknamed 'Owlington', escaped from its home in Curragh Grange, Newbridge, while being fed on Friday.
The creature has a 6.5-foot wing span.
People are being encouraged to stay at a safe distance from the eagle owl.
