A qualified beautician was ordered to give money to charity after she was found with €40 worth of cannabis herb.
The 26 year old was ordered to pay €500 to Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children within three months.
Naas District Court heard that the woman was an occupant of a car stopped by gardai.
Officers noticed a smell of cannabis and carried out a search of the vehicle under the Drugs of Misuse Act.
The court heard that the defendant is a qualified beautician who is not working at present.
Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered her to pay €500 to St John's Cancer Ward in Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children.
