It's set to be a rather bleak and misty 24 hours as rain pushes towards Kildare tonight and will be in place for long spells throughout tomorrow morning and afternoon.
There will be little change to today's weather overnight, but rain will arrive in the northwest of the country later in the night. Lows of 11-13 degrees in southwesterly breezes.
Rain across the west and northwest will be heavy at times tomorrow morning with the rain gradually extending to the rest of the country through the day; a clearance will follow into Ulster and Connacht by evening. Highs of 14-18 degrees with moderate southwesterly winds veering northwest as the rain clears.
