A woman and her two small children escaped uninjured from a serious accident on Monday afternoon in Wicklow, with Gardaí saying that properly fitted child seats were key to ensuring the safety of all occupants.
The woman and her children were involved in a single vehicle collision where her car overturned on a busy road in Wicklow, but all three of them were unharmed in the accident.
Wicklow Roads Policing said that the use of seatbelts and the correct fitting of the child seats in the back seats were key to their safety.
