Midlands woman alleges husband punched wall so hard he broke his arm

A midlands woman with young children who claims that her husband punched a wall in her presence, leaving her in fear, has been refused a Protection Order at Naas Family Law Court today.

In court, the woman applying for a Protection Order claims that her husband shouts at her in front of their children.

She said: "I am terrified of what he will do to me or the kids."

The court heard an allegation of an incident where he punched the wall so hard that he broke his arm, while they were away for a weekend together.

She said: "He is extremely unpredictable."

The woman said that when he punched the wall, she feared that it could have been her.

The court heard how she has left her husband and that they no-longer reside together.

Judge Miriam Walsh refused the application for a Protection Order.
