Gardaí in Naas highlighted the problems that those with disabilities face when parking if other drivers park across two spots and take up more room from what is needed.
Gardaí on foot patrol in the town centre issued the driver of a blue Mazda with a fine after noticing that the person had taken up part of the space next to their own car. The car was parked outside St David's Church in Naas, and Gardaí said that instances like this can make life very difficult for those who actually need to park in disabled bays.
