Adrian Dunbar will star in new Irish psychological drama Blood, to be screened in TV3’s new Autumn schedule.
The series is currently filming in Kilcock.
Dunbar, who had roles in Irish films such as My Left Foot, The Crying Game, and The General, is currently know for his role of Superintendent Ted Hastings in the BBC One thriller Line of Duty.
Blood is written by Sophie Petzal (Red Rock, The Last Kingdom, Riviera) and produced by Jonathan Fisher (Midsomer Murders, Lewis).
Dunbar plays the role of a rural doctor for Blood, a six-part drama from TV3.
Scenes have been shot in a disused medical centre in Kilcock.
TV3 will be rebranded as Virgin Media Television after the acquisition of the station by the group in 2015.
