Gardaí at Blanchardstown investigating an incident where a woman was seriously injured at Lohunda Dale, Clonsilla Dublin 15 are renewing their appeal for witnesses.
The 35-year-old woman was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital. Her condition is described as critical.
Gardaí are investigating the possibility that this woman may be the victim of a hit and run road traffic collision.
Investigators have established that this woman had travelled from Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 in a taxi to the Lohunda area prior to her discovery and are seeking to identify the driver of this taxi, which is not better described.
Gardaí have carried out extensive house to house enquiries and would like to thank the public for their invaluable assistance.
