A Newbridge man in his home with his family is reported to have been allegedly stabbed in an ‘unprovoked attack.’
Detective Garda Scott Browne told Naas District Court how on May, 2018, at a house in Newbridge town, a 24-year-old man entered the house at 12.15am as a trespasser.
The court heard how there were three children in the house.
It is alleged that the accused, from Dublin, went upstairs and stabbed the homeowner.
Judge Desmond Zaidan has ordered that the accused is to be sent forward to the next sitting of Naas Circuit Court.
