A family from Calverstown have told of their delight at being reunited with their beloved pet dog 'Tilly' who went missing from outside their home before Christmas last-after she was found to be safe and well seven months later!
Female dog Tilly was found to be missing from her home on the evening of 23 December 2017, and her heart-broken owners have searched everywhere for their beloved pet in a search that's lasted seven months.
However, there was good news all around, when last Wednesday 25 July the family received word that Tilly had been found by the Ballitore dog warden in Kildare, and she was quickly re-united with her owners when her microchip was checked.
Her delighted owner said: "She was taken care of and is in perfect health. I just want to thank everyone for all the help over the last 7 months. We are so so happy and thrilled to have her home. Not everyone’s story ends so well, we know we are so lucky to get her back. Wouldn’t of gotten her back without her being micro chipped."
