A spate of speeding fines were dealt with at Naas District Court this morning.
A fine of €250 was handed out to an individual who was charged with driving at 95km/hr in a 80 km zone.
The court heard how he had no previous convictions.
In court, a young man who said that he was driving his mother's car and 'forgot to pay', appeared in court for driving at a speed of 71km in a 60 km zone. The court heard how he had no previous convictions.
He was convicted and fined €250 and was given six months to pay.
Another individual was convicted and fined €200 for driving at 61km/hr in a 50km zone.
A driver caught at a speed of 115 in a 100km zone was convicted and fined €350. The court heard how the motorist had no previous convictions.
The court heard how a motorist with no previous convictions driving at a speed of 123km/hr in a 100km zone was convicted and fined €350.
