A 19- year-old man caught in possession of €25 worth of cannabis appeared at Naas District Court this morning.
Inspector Mel Smith outlined to the court how the accused was found in possession of a 'small amount of cannabis'
The court heard how he had no previous convictions.
Defence Solicitor, Matthew Byrne, told Judge Desmond Zaidan that the accused left school as a 15- year-old.
The court heard how his mother is deceased and that he is currently unemployed.
Judge Zaidan said he would apply the Probation Act in the case.
