A man caught speeding while driving his mother's car appeared before Naas District Court.
The court heard how the accused was driving his mother's car but left it too late to pay the fixed penalty notice.
Evidence was given that the accused was driving at a speed of 112km/hr in a 100km zone.
Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered that the speeding charge was struck out.
