Gardai pulled a driver over last night who was taking a snapchat of himself out the window of his car.
The man was pulled over in Limerick last night and handed a €60 fine and three penalty points.
Since May 2014, it has been illegal to text or hold a mobile phone while driving.
In 2013, there were over 28,000 people detected holding a mobile phone whilst driving, said the gardaí, the second highest offence detected nationally.
