A Co Kildare Garda Representative Association Spokesperson announced he will 'support any action that is deemed necessary.'
Naas based Garda John Joe O'Connell, GRA representative for the Kildare Garda Division, is in Killarney this week, in a bid to highlight the low pay conditions being endured by new recruits, among other issues.
Recruits are currently on an annual pay scale of €23, 131. It is anticipated that this pay scale will be frozen for another two years, under existing FEMPI legislation.
The conference in Killarney will also take place tomorrow, there are three representatives from each Co Kildare Garda division attending.
