Garda Traffic Corps in Naas arrested a young Learner Driver for dangerous driving and being over the alcohol limit.
The rookie motorist was discovered carrying out wheel spins and handbrake times.
It subsequently emerged he was over the drink-driving limit for a Learner Driver.
The regular legal limits for a fully licenced driver is 50 milligrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
However a Learner Driver is only allowed 20 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
The Learner Driver was arrested and charged by Naas Traffic Corps and will appear in court soon.
