You may have noticed in the last few years that the number of Maxol stations popping up around the county have increased drastically in a short space of time. It is all part of their ambitious plan to become the kingpins of the Irish service station industry as they attempt to take over from Topaz as the most common type of station in the country.
Their latest acquisitions include garages in Kill and another on the Naas Road in Dublin.
The one located in Kill is on the Naas Road, while the one on the Naas Road in Dublin is located on the Long Mile junction. Maxol has also purchased a service station on the Greenhill's Road in South Dublin.
All three stations that have been purchased were formerly owned by Topaz.
A spokesman for Maxol said: "We have been keen to strengthen our presence in the Leinster area."
