The Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ltd (KWWSPCA) is a Registered Charity established in 1940 to prevent animal cruelty and neglect.
Along with the increased population of County Kildare and West Wicklow, there has been a corresponding increase in the number of suspected and actual cases of neglect and outright cruelty to animals, as well as an increase in road and other accidents involving animals, and the society aims to rehabilitate and rehome animals.
