A cyclist is appealing for help to identify a car that knocked him off his bike yesterday in Kilcock.
The incident happened outside the town on the old N5 near Craft Cars at 5.45pm (about 1km from M4 exit).
The cyclist spent 24 hours in hospital with a fractured lower back and multiple contusions and muscle injuries.
Doctors said the injuries will take six weeks to heal.
The vehicle was grey in colour but nobody saw the make or model or registration number.
The cyclist said: "Car should show some damage on the passenger side - it definitely lost its wing mirror.
"I'm bringing the wing mirror a motor factor to try ID make and model from the part number."
Three passing motorists stopped to help but they didn't see the car.
