A family has made an appeal for a missing iPod which had 'irreplaceable' photos from a trip to Legoland.
The Daly family were returning on the 8.20pm Stenaline sailing from Holyhead to Dublin on Monday night when the device went missing.
Louise Daly from Kells in Co Meath, said: "My nephew is devastated. Santa brought it to him."
She added: "We were just returning from Legoland, his first time out of Ireland. All his photos are gone on it and not backed up.
"It's completely useless to anyone as its locked down. There are photos on it that cannot be replaced."
"He is heartbroken because all his photos including photos of his trip to Legoland are now gone.
"It looks exactly like the iPod in these photos. If anyone can return it safely then we'd be happy to give them a reward.
"I want to get it out as far as possible in the hope that we can make this little boy happy again."
