Gardaí are currently in Tallaght Village dealing with a cash-in-transit robbery that took place outside Bank of Ireland.
No arrests have yet been made and Gardai are appealing to anybody with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, to get in touch.
No fire arm was used in the robbery, which is believed to have happened around 11.50am, and no injuries reported.
Gardai are still at the scene gathering information and while they can’t officially confirm the number of people involved, they are following a line of inquiry that two people robbed the van and left the scene in a small silver car.
