The Clane Guild of the Irish Country Women’s Association visited Leinster House this week to meet with local TD James Lawless.
Deputy Lawless brought Clane ICA on a tour of Leinster House. The visit was topped off when, just after walking off the plinth, they were greeted by former Minister Mary O’Rourke. Mary regaled the group with tales from her own political career taking a photo with the group before leaving for her book launch that evening.
Deputy Lawless said “I was delighted to welcome Clane ICA to Leinster House today. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon showing them around the Dáil in between debates. This is the second ICA group that have visited the Leinster House to meet with me and I look forward to the next group”.
