We're set for a rather nice day today in Kildare as the weather looks to be quite settled for the coming hours and the prospect of rain is relatively low.
Today will be dry for most of the day with sunny spells. However, it will become cloudy and windy along Atlantic coasts later with outbreaks of rain developing there in the evening or early night. Maximum temperatures 13-15 degrees. Light southeast winds will increase moderate to fresh during the day, and winds will become strong on Atlantic coasts.
It will become windy in most areas tonight, with cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading from the Atlantic, turning heavy later in Atlantic coastal counties, affecting mainly, but parts of the south and east will stay largely dry. Mild, in fresh to strong south to southeast winds.
