Co Kildare pet owners can have their pets blessed at a special ceremony next weekend.
The event takes place at Christ Church in Celbridge at 3.30pm on Sunday, October 9.
The organisers said that owners can also take photos of their pets for the blessing if they don't want to bring them in the flesh.
All dogs must be kept on a lead and smaller animals must be housed in animal carriers.
This is to prevent any distress to pets.
