A Done Deal scammer who conned six victims into parting with €2,400, including one man who paid €160 for two non-existent Adele concert tickets, has been jailed for a year.
Liam Casey fooled his victims by answering 'Wanted' ads placed on the Done Deal website.
In one case, Casey responded on January 14 this year to an advert placed by a man looking for two Adele concert tickets.
The unsuspecting fan transferred €160 but never received the tickets.
Casey, of Springfield Drive, Celbridge, also duped another man into parting with €1,100 for two cars that didn't exist.
Casey also tricked another victim into transferring €500 for car parts that didn't exist.
Casey, who has 51 previous convictions, was jailed for 12 months at Ennis District Court.
