A Garda investigation is underway after a number of shots were fired in the car park at a popular Dublin shopping centre yesterday evening.
The incident occurred shortly after 6pm at the Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas when the car park was quite busy, and the Herald are reporting that a child was almost injured in the crossfire by a stray bullet.
The child was in a car that was struck by a bullet that was intended for another person, though there was nobody injured in the shooting. It is not believed that the shooting is in connection to the ongoing gangland feud between the Hutch's and the Kinahan's.
Gardaí from Finglas Garda Station are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
