A man in his early twenties facing charges for an armed robbery in Co Kildare did not appear at Naas District Court, as ordered.
23 - year-old Shane Kenny, is charged with robbery of €800 at Kelleher’s Optician, Kildare, on March 9, 2016, and producing a knife and robbing €900 from Carry-Out Claregate St, Kildare, on August 5, 2015.
Defence Solicitor, Séamus Boyle, said that Kenny is not in court due to a doctor's appointment.
A bench warrant was ordered for Kenny's arrest.
