A heavily pregnant Co Kildare woman and her husband were the victims of a hit and run earlier this week.
It is understood that at the weekend, the couple's car collided with a black sports bike, on the road out of Newbridge at Old Connell Wier. The accident took place at 3pm on Saturday.
Damien Strick said: "The bike has to be in bits plus the driver has to have hurt himself. Andrea is nine months pregnant. But we are all okay but shaken."
