Customers at Vodafone Ireland appear to be experiencing difficulty accessing their network.
The company appears to have suffered a major outage with customers at several locations around the country reporting problems.
Its not clear how many people are affected or how long it will take to repair the fault.
Vodafone later released a statement at 5.30pm saying full service will be resumed 'over the next few hours'.
The statement said: “Some Vodafone customers experienced intermittent voice and data issues earlier today.
"The root cause has been identified, a fix has been put in place and power is being restored.
"Customers’ full service should resume over the next few hours.
"Vodafone apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
