A student and part-time sales assistant was fined €750 after she was convicted of careless driving in Johnstown.
The 23 year old was turning into Johnstown Manor estate in April 2015 when her car collided with a cyclist.
Naas District Court heard the cyclist suffered a fractured right collar bone in the incident.
Judge Desmond Zaidan was told the defendant 'got a really bad fright' as she had never beenin a car accident before.
