Team Kildare once again excelled at the HSE National Festival in AIT Athlone adding a further six Gold, ten Silver, five Bronze and 1 fourth place to their already impressive haul from the previous weekend.

Newbridge St Conleth's took their festival Gold medal tally to five with Gold in Gaelic and Drama/Comedy.

Their Under 10 Gaelic team put in the performance of the day to take the Gold.

They had lost their first game in this four Team round robin to Listowel (Kerry) but as the Kerry team subsequently lost to Claregalway (Galway) meant that victory over Claregalway (Galway) would guarantee Gold. Aaron Donohue scored 2-4 of his team's 3-8 to set his team on the way.

Calum Dwane chipped in with 1-1 and Ben Delaney and Fionnain Galvin scored two points apiece. Claregalway tried hard but an inspired Mateen Bello kept his goal intact mopping up anything that came his way giving St Conleth's Gold, Listowel Silver, Claregalway  Brone and Clontibret (Monaghan) fourth.

Listowel (Kerry) 3-9  St Conleth's 2-10

Claregalway (Galway) 5-4 Clontibret (Monaghan) 1-5
