A Garda search is currently underway in Dublin as officers look to find a man armed with a shotgun and a handgun in the Clondalkin/Kilmainham area.
The man may have been involved in a shooting incident at an address in Bluebell last night according to independent.ie, though there was nobody injured in the incident.
Gardaí were tipped off that the man left a house near the area this morning and went in the direction of a nearby canal. Following the reported sighting the Garda helicopter was deployed to aid several dog units and armed units in locating the suspect.
They have concentrated their efforts on searching the area around Kilmainham and Clondalkin.
