A man was remanded on bail at Naas Court this morning in relations to charges of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend's partner.
Evidence was given at Naas District Court how on December 18, 2015, the accused is alleged to have got into the injured party's car when he was arriving to work.
The Garda said: "He said he would kill him and that he was going away anyway."
The court heard how the accused has a son with his ex-partner.
Evidence was heard that the accused was trying to get the man to persuade his ex-partner to give him access to his son.
Judge John Cheattle ordered that the case is adjourned until September 13 and the accused is remanded on continuing bail.
Conditions were ordered that he does not make any contact with the injured party.
