Kildare is due to see plenty of sunshine today as parts of the country is struck by showers of rain during the afternoon.

Most places will be dry this morning but increasing cloud will bring patchy drizzle and light rain in the afternoon and evening, mainly to western and northern counties.
It will become misty also on Southern and Western coasts with some fog patches but some hazy sunshine is likely in the East and to the lee of high ground.
It will become very warm and humid with highest temperatures of 19-24 degrees and South to Southwesterly winds will freshen throughout the day, becoming very blustery later, especially in the Northwest.
It will be quite windy tonight in the West and North and breezy elsewhere and it will be dry apart from some mist or drizzle with minimum temperatures of 13-15 degrees.
