A woman was approached by two men in Newbridge yesterday who grabbed her handbag.
The woman was walking along Station Road at about 3.40pm when two men men approached her.
The handbag was over her shoulder and there was some struggle involved to steal it.
Cash was stolen.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
