At least two stores affected by the massive fire at Smyths Toystore in Naas have closed until further notice.
The blaze on July 27 destroyed large amounts of toys - but also caused smoke damage to nearby EZ Living Furniture and Heatons in the Globe Retail Park.
EZ Living Furniture and Heatons both held discount sales at the weekend and have notices telling customers that they are closed 'until further notice.'
Smyths is cordoned and customers are directed to other outlets in Tallaght and Clondalkin.
EZ Living Furniture store in Naas drew hundreds of shoppers to a special sale at the weekend to sell off goods and some shoppers noticed that staff had placed sliced onions on surfaces of furniture to help cleanse the air.
Fire engines from Naas, Newbridge, Blessington and Maynooth battled the fire in a storeroom at Smyths on Wednesday.
Kildare Fire Service had to return again on Thursday after small fires broke out.
It's believed that the blaze destroyed hundreds of toys in a store room in the mezzanine level of the building.
Smoke damage has also been caused to stock on shelves on the main ground floor of the shop.
Kildare Fire Service officers spent almost seven hours fighting the flames on Wednesday until the scene was made safe enough to leave at around 10pm last night.
The fire was one of the biggest operations in recent years for Kildare Fire Service personnel.
Chief Fire Officer Celina Barrett said: "Four stations were involved. Fire engines from Naas and Newbridge responded initially and these were followed by engines from Maynooth and
Blessington due to the size of the fire.
"There were four engines, two turn-tables and a hydraulic platform at the scene.
"The first 999 call was received at 3.11pm and we were on the scene within minutes. We didn't leave there until 10pm last night.
