Gardaí are advising motorists to beware of diversions in the Sallins area this afternoon.
The annual Sinn Féin Wolfetone commemoration will be taking place in the village today, and a parade is likely to cause significant disruption to traffic.
Gardaí are advising motorists to find an alternative route around the village between 2pm and 3pm today, as the parade will take up the main street and all incoming traffic will be stuck behind it. The parade will commence in Sallins village and make its way out to the Bodenstown churchyard.
Gardaí have stated that diversions will be put in place, and that the disruption to traffic should last around 45 minutes.
