Naas RPU: ‘A selection of dates on display but unfortunately all out of date’ No Tax/ No Insurance/ No NCT Car seized & Court to follow.
A driver was stopped in the Naas area for using a mobile phone while driving.
The motorists was discovered to have no Tax, no Insurance and no NCT.
But he did have a bag of onions in the vehicle.
Naas Roads Policing said the car was seized under the Road Traffic Act.
A local court appearance will follow.
Gardai added: "The onions were allowed to proceed!"
