A number of caravans which are reported to have parked beside a roundabout in Naas have been ordered to vacate by Kildare County Council.
It is understood that several caravans have been illegally parked in Naas since the weekend.
In a statement issued to KildareNow this evening, Kildare County Council confirmed that notices were served on Friday 26 April when the caravans were first reported, and today 24 hour notices were served to the occupants of the caravans.
“Kildare County Council are monitoring the situation and have been in contact with the Gardai. The notices are served under the Sanitary Services Act and request the caravans to be removed within the assigned time period,” they said in a statement.
