"Halleluia!" says this motorist this am when I approached the Watch House Crossroads this morning.

Kildare County Council has completed all roads works on R411 Ballymore Eustace to Naas Road with a newly aligned road on the treacherous little bridge just a few hundred metres from the Ballymore Eustace Roundabout.

Residents too along Craddockstown Road will be relieved as motorists were using this narrow stretch of roadway to link up with the R411 and Punchestown route.Watch House Cross is the busy junction with traffic coming from all directions,  via L2023 to Punchestown, Beggars End, Blessington Road, and to Kilcullen and Two Mile House via Mullacash, Ballymore Eustace to Naas.

With three weeks to go to Punchestown Festival, racegoers, cyclists and motorists will be happy bunnies this am!
